What drives the cost
- Design: a design made from scratch costs more than one built on an existing theme.
- Size: the number of pages, and features such as booking or online payment.
- Running costs: the domain and hosting, which renew every year.
- Changes after launch: often billed by the hour.5

The illustration: AED 1,749 build (the median) + AED 49 for a .com in its first year + AED 228 hosting (AED 19 a month on a 36-month prepay) + 3 one-hour changes at AED 200, a senior freelancer rate = AED 2,626. One-hour changes are an illustration; they are not necessarily the same as GetSuperWeb edits. VAT excluded where the seller charges it separately. Your own quotes will differ.
